KEYWORD ALERT PROFILE


Keyword Alert Profiles are used as a tool to alert users of something that may have to be done, such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), when creating a non-planned job card. Based on the affected part selected and keywords entered in the Job field when creating a Job Card, RAAS will present the alert message.

Adding a Keyword Alert Profile

  1. Go to Settings and select Keyword Alert Profile. (See Figure 1).

  2. Click the Add button.

  3. Fill in the Profile Name, Description and select Active.

  4. Alert Criteria:

    1. Enter ATA and Keyword Match following the criteria noted under the text box.

    2. Enter Alert Message.

Note: Bring alert message forward to jobcard instructions flag on will allow the user to import the message to the Job Card being created.

  1. Applicable Part Numbers:

    1. Enter Part Numbers that will apply to the Keyword Alert.

      • Multiple Part Numbers can be applicable.

Note: Part Numbers added to the list must be installed on the aircraft and will be selectable to be added to the Affected Part of the Job Card.

  1. Email Recipients:

    1. Employees can be selected to receive an email notification when a Keyword Alert JC is created.

Note: the Employee requires an active email address and the Limit Trigger Notification flag on under Employee Information. (see Figure 3).

  1. Click Save.

How Keyword Alert Profiles work

When a Job Card is created and the ATA code as well as one of the Keyword Match trigger conditions are used, a pop-up window will appear with the Alert Message.

Click OK to select and update the Affected Part for the Job Card or click Cancel to maintain current Affected Part of the Job Card.

If OK, a new pop-up window will appear with the Parts available that apply to the Keyword Alert Profile for selection as well as the Message Alert and Removal Count (if applicable see Note) for review.

Clicking Select Part will change the Affected Part of the Job Card.

Note: If the Rem Known (Removals Known) flag is on at the SN Detail level, the system will track the # of removal's based on maintenance Removal action during TMI Entry.

If Cancel, the message would be viewed, and no changes will be made to the Job Card.
