MAINTENANCE FORECAST - WIL
When a Part Number is created in RAAS with a multi-limit constraint active (for example, a group check with a Repeat constraint limited by both hours and landings), a user is able to select whether the constraint is due when any one of the constraint limits are due (default RAAS configuration), or when all of the constraint limits are due (WIL - Whichever Is Later).
The WIL property is manually configured on the Part Number for a particular constraint (Life, Initial, Repeat) that has more than one constraint limit configured (Hours, Landings, Calendar).
When generating a maintenance forecast, WIL items are identified and treated differently by the forecast routine.
As seen in the above screenshot, a WIL item will be identified with (WIL) appended to the forecasted item. (WIL) will be color-coded based on the following criteria:
Black - Black (WIL) indicates that the constraint limit of the forecast item is not the latest limit and not all constraint limits are due within the Forecast Period.
These items will be suppressed when the “Include WIL” forecast option is not selected, and unaffected when the “Include WIL” forecast option is selected. The user is able to issue these items, but will be warned and asked to confirm.
Red - Red (WIL) indicates that the constraint limit of the forecast item may not be the latest limit (based on Est. Due) and that all constraints are due within the Forecast Period.
These items will appear whether or not the “Include WIL” forecast option is selected.
Green - Green (WIL) indicates that the constraint limit of the forecast item may be the latest limiter (based on Est. Due) and that all constraints are due within the Forecast Period.
These items will appear whether or not the “Include WIL” forecast option is selected..
Note: Printed reports will display (WIL) on appropriate lines and are subject to the “Include WIL” forecast option, however, color-coding will not be present.
