INPUT FIELDS & FORMULAS AUDITING

Below describes two utilities that may be used for confirming the appropriate configuration of Input Fields & Formulas.

Flight Logs

The following workflow will allow a user to verify the Input Fields & Formulas that are set up on a particular Aircraft:

  1. Select Flight Logs from the Technical Records module.

  2. Select a Search Type, enter the Search Criteria, and click the Find button. Select the desired Serial Number from the drop-down list.

  3. Click the View Flight Logs button to populate the page.

  4. Click the button with two dots to view a particular Flight Log.

    1. The Flight Log info will appear in a pane to the right.

  5. If Input Fields are set up for this Aircraft Type, they will be displayed here and can be edited for the particular Flight Log (until the Flight Log is accepted and posted).

  6. In the same area and under the Accessories tab, users can view all items with Separate Time Tracking (STT) enabled as well as the engines on the Aircraft.

    1. Users can hover over the orange numbers to display a tooltip, indicating how that particular item is accumulating Hours or Cycles.

    2. Note: Accessory details are not displayed until the flight log has been saved.

  7. If necessary, users can click on the Reset STT Totals button to update the rolling total of an Input Field to a new total that will begin accumulating from that value in subsequent Flight Logs.

Excel Export

Within the Input Fields & Formulas sub-module, an Excel Export is provided to indicate the total history of:

  • All input fields and formulas configured for all indicated Applicable Installations.

  • All counters configured for a particular Part Number, Position, and Applicable Installation along with the Hours and Cycles counters applied.

To generate the Excel export:

  1. Select Input Fields & Formulas from the Technical Records module.

  2. Select Export to generate the Excel export.

Note: Counter history is based on Part Number, Position, and Applicable Installation. As such, a new counter that shares a position with a previously deleted counter will continue the previous counter’s history.
